We are lucky that there are many restaurants that will accommodate the gluten free consumer.
Recently we have even seen a surge in restaurants that provide an entire gluten free menu or, failing that, an allergen menu.
This makes eating out easier than ever and enables you to eat alongside your gluten eating friends without any worries.
We have listed below those restaurants that provide a gluten-free or allergen menu - however please let us know if we have missed out any of your favourites at: email@example.com
This fabulous fish and chip restaurant does take-away, delivery or you can eat in.
Every Wednesday is Gluten free Wednesday at this restaurant (with a branch in London's Belsize Park and another in Whetstone).
On Gluten free nights, the gluten free batter products and chips are fried in separate oils to the rest of their products.
Their chips are gluten free every night.
The Mae Deli was created by Ella Woodward (of "Deliciously Ella" fame), and her fiancé, Matthew.
Their menu is focused on plant-based dishes. They celebrate natural foods, and create beautiful, inventive dishes using simple ingredients.
Every day they have a selection of lovely salads and hot dishes. You pick and choose from the dishes to create your mae bowl, to which you can then add extra sides and protein options.
They also serve great breakfast and offer a selection of drinks, from: freshly made smoothies to organic cold pressed juices, matcha lattes, chai lattes, coffee and tea. And of course, lots of sweet treats, including Ella's famous energy balls.
One word of caution though, this is not a gluten free restaurant so, if you would like completely gluten free food, be sure to mention it when ordering and also watch out for cross contamination as you may find different baked goods sitting right next to each other at the counter.
